I'm very passionate about community-led projects that inspire and bring people together. When an opportunity arose to work alongside Holly Astle (local illustrator) to help Dave Bain on his exciting 20m mural celebrating the Falmouth community, I couldn't turn it down!

I really enjoy seeing everyone's creative spaces, so here is a little tour of mine!

Creature comforts are important to me so I enjoy creating a cosy environment where I can soak up inspiration from the work of my favourite creatives .

I love a good book and lot's of my projects start by delving into one to get the creative juices flowing.

Finally, this introduction wouldn't be complete without introducing Willow, my rescue cat. I adopted Willow back in the 2020 lockdown from Cats Protection Cornwall and she's overseen all my projects ever since ! (I'm often drawing her so you'll probably see her a lot!)

I'm Jade, a Freelance illustrator and artist based in Cornwall. I studied at Falmouth University and graduated in 2023 with a degree in BA (Hons) Illustration. Growing up here in Cornwall has lead me to be fascinated by my Cornish heritage as well as the rich natural world that surrounds me, drawing inspiration in nature, wildlife and the beautiful coastline.

My work is prodominatly digital, inspired by printmaking processes such as screen print.
